Our approach is comprehensive and patient-centered, with a focus on preventive care and health education. Leveraging your expertise, you will provide exceptional dental care to our youngest patients, aged three years and under, while enjoying the robust professional growth and development opportunities, including loan repayment programs like NHSC and Texas PELRP.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate and high-quality dental care specifically for pediatric patients at Legacy Community Health, focusing on those aged three years and younger.
- Adhere to the guidelines and protocols established by licensing, state, and federal funding agencies, as well as the policies and procedures of Legacy Community Health Services.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to further the comprehensive healthcare goals of the clinic.
- Actively engage with the Director of Dental Services to continually enhance and adapt services to meet evolving healthcare needs.
- Participate in community outreach and educational programs to promote oral health and wellness.
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduation from an accredited dental school with specialization in Dentistry.
- Possession of a valid and active dental license in the State of Texas.
- Current certification in CPR (BLS).
- DEA registration.
- Professional clinical experience in dentistry, with specific experience in practicing within a community health center being advantageous.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus and highly desired.
